Sometimes the most convenient time for you to do your banking might be 6 a.m. or 10:30 p.m. Now that's no problem with 24-hour telephone banking, a free service offered by Timberline Bank.
Using a touch tone phone call any time, day or night, to check account or loan balances, transfer money, find out when loan payments are due or inquire about interest earnings and maturity dates. Your personal identification number (or PIN) insures that all transactions and inquiries are completely confidential.
To get started using Timberline Bank's telephone banking service, all you need is your social security number and bank account numbers in front of you. Then call 1-866-405-1192. A voice will give you instructions about how to proceed.
You will be asked to enter your Timberline Bank account number and the last four digits of your social security number, which is your temporary PIN number. Timberline Bank strongly suggests that you change this immediately to something less obvious. But make it something easy for you to remember.
As an example of how telebank works, here's how to change your PIN number: Call 1-866-405-1192. Select "1" for Account Information. Enter your checking account number, followed by the # sign, then select "1" again for Checking Account. Enter your PIN (the last four digits of your social security number to begin with) followed by the # sign. Select option "9" to change your personal ID number and enter your new four-digit choice followed by the # sign. You're done! Click here for a menu layout.
